The purpose of this tool is to help people recognize how an emotion manifests for them at different levels of intensity. This tool was adapted from Therapist Aid’s Emotion Exploration Scale worksheet. Being able to recognize an emotion at a lower level of intensity makes it easier to intervene to regulate the emotion before it becomes too intense to control.
